The Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) defines intentional teaching as ‘educators being deliberate, purposeful and thoughtful in their decisions and actions. The experiences and activities listed on the curriculum plan, are intentional are intended to achieve a learning outcome based on the EYLF. This means all the experiences planned and which children are engaged in on a daily basis, have an outcome and are planned to be available on that specific day.

Nidhi Perception supports the childcare centres to help with planning, implementing the intentional teaching methods and strategies to help children in their best growth and learning.

Intentional teaching is a much more dynamic process than traditional approaches because the whole learning experience becomes well-planned and goal-oriented, even when it looks improvised.
